Stephan Caron torchbearer
Last Friday, one of OpenSwim's co-founders had the chance to carry the Olympic flame.
During stage 61 of the Torch Relay, Stephan Caron was one of 24 members of the FFN swimming collective relay. Led by relay captain Camille Lacourt, the members passed the torch around the Centre Aquatique Intercommunal de Sarcelles, before Camille Lacourt took over and passed the flame to the next torchbearer.
Stephan is one of the 11,000 torchbearers between former athletes, celebrities and anonymous citizens who will keep the memory of having carried the Olympic flame for Paris 2024. A nice reward and a superb tribute to Stephan's career, having participated in 3 Olympics and won 2 bronze medals in the 100m freestyle at the 1988 & 1992 Olympics.
